Clients
Receiving Occupational Therapy may:

abilities in everyday tasks (e.g. dressing,
bathing, homemaking, and work).

work-related activities (e.g. sitting
tolerance, reasoning, problem solving, body
mechanics).

Enhance
performance in tasks requiring hand-eye
coordination (e.g. sports activities,
driving).

Learn energy
conservation and joint protection
techniques.

Receive
suggestions for adaptive equipment such as
kitchen aides, reachers, etc.

Receive
recommendations for architectural
modifications or specialized equipment for
the home or workplace.

The Outpatient Services clinical
staff are professional therapists, licensed by
the state of North Carolina. They have further
developed their clinical expertise through
